Japan Crisis Puts Things in Perspective

I am sure there is not a single person out there who is not horrified by the flood of pictures and stories emerging from Japan right now. Perhaps you know people who were affected, who died, or have simply been wondering what you would do if such devastation happened here. In Canada. In Toronto. To you and your loved ones.

While one could say that natural disasters are just something the earth "does" and are not reflective of the way in which we treat Her, I invite you to suspend your disbelief for a moment and view them as a communication from the Headmistress.

Perhaps Her Majesty Goddess Earth is shaking us from our complacency and our sleepwalking. Waking us up to the reality that we are all connected on this relatively tiny little planet. That what impacts a country halfway around the world from us impacts us. Let us not for one minute forget that She is the ultimate dominatrix, the one who weilds the "actual" power that controls our collective destiny as human beings on this planet. It is to Her that we must all surrender, to Her that we must become stewards and service submissives.

Perhaps she is demanding greater self-discipline in the way in which we approach Her, in the way in which we walk upon Her, in the things that we create, in the way that we use resources. If I was to put myself in Her shoes, I would imagine that Her patience is wearing. And her retribution increasingly swift. She is doing it because She cares about us, because in order for us to change for the better, we need to understand that there are consequences to our actions.

Think about it.

Master,

As always, a completely fascinating perspective. One I know I would not have considered if not for Your input. Thank You for causing me to pause and reflect.
